At The Way Family Dojo, we offer exciting, enjoyable, and energy-packed programs to help people from all backgrounds and abilities achieve their goals. We are a family of black belts who continue to share our knowledge of fitness, self-defense, and martial arts.
Our mission to create a community that feels like a family, and you love being a part of. We offer programs that add value to your life because we’re focused on developing each student as a whole person. Not only do our students learn how to break a board and do a back kick, but they also learn what it means to be courteous, live with integrity, and persevere in life.
In 6,000 square feet, we offer state of the art training from highly trained instructors who never stop learning and growing themselves. Whether you’re a white belt just beginning your martial arts journey, a fighter looking to gain competition skills, or a parent looking for a fun, new way to get in shape, The Way Family Dojo has a place for you.
All of our programs integrate life and leadership skills and mentoring.
The Ninjas program is for kids ages two to six and is designed to introduce students to martial arts. Children learn the basics of Taekwondo and self-defense in a safe, structured class environment.
Our Warrior program (ages seven and up) is where students progress from a white belt learning Taekwondo basics to a black belt and beyond.
Taekwondo Competition Team
The Competition Team program is for students who want to compete in Olympic Style sparring. Students learn skills for competition, as well as gain confidence in their fighting style.
Taekwondo Leadership Team
The Leadership Team is the backbone of our life skills program, where our goal is to produce Black Belt Leaders on and off the mat. This program is designed to help students grow into effective leaders with the skills they need to succeed in life.
Our Krav Maga program is for ages 14 and up. It addresses not only the physical aspects of self-defense but also the mental ones. Students practice hand-to-hand combative techniques, ground defense, weapon defense, and much more.
Kadima: Women’s Only Self-Defense
Kadima is a women’s only self-defense class for ages 14 and up focused on awareness, assertiveness, verbal confrontation skills, physical techniques, and safety strategies.
Cage Fitness is an energy-packed workout and structured like an MMA bout (but without the fighting or contact). In five, five-minute rounds, get a total body workout that improves your endurance, strength, and power, while building your core.
Homeschool Taekwondo PE Class
Our Homeschool Taekwondo program not only helps get students active but also integrates life skills and leadership strategies into every class.
Special Needs Athletes
This program adapts traditional martial arts training to the needs of each individual athlete. Just a few of the benefits include discipline, concentration, coordination, balance, and self-confidence.
Everyday men, women, and children from the Woodlands, Magnolia, Montgomery, Spring, and Conroe areas are part of The Way Family Dojo community. To learn more about how to get started with any of our programs and martial arts classes, contact us today.
